The highest paid job of the week is in IT: a company in Brasov is hiring an “ABAP Developer SAP Logistics” for a salary of 5,000 euros per month. The job can be done remotely, but the condition is that applicants know German at an advanced level, according to data provided by the bestjobs platform for the “Ora de profit.ro” show on Prima TV and quoted by News.ro.
In addition to the IT job, bestjobs also reports two interesting news in the top of the highest salaries of the week: an energy supply company in Bucharest is looking for a legal advisor with a minimum of 5 years experience, offering a salary of €4,000 per month; and a Hamburg-based company specializing in market data and analysis is recruiting a human resources manager from Romania for a salary of €3,500 per month. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Germany.
Another interesting new job highlighted by bestjobs is a welder job in Constanta offering a salary of between €2,600 and €3,000 per month.
This week also saw an increase in the volume of Education jobs as the new school year begins. In Bucharest and Ploiesti, for example, primary and pre-school teachers are being sought, with salaries ranging from €1,000 to €1,300 per month, depending on experience. In Bucharest they are looking for teachers for a salary of €1,200 per month and teachers for €1,100 per month.
In terms of hiring by field, sales dominated the rankings again this week, with finance and accounting in second place. Also on the podium were jobs for specialists/technicians: electricians, mechanics, production engineers.
The bestjobs platform also made a top list of the most desired fields for remote jobs, with IT/telecom at the top. Next in order are sales, call center, finance, accounting, and marketing.
The job with the most applications this week was data entry, validation and processing operator. More than 300 applicants submitted their CVs immediately after the advertisement was published.
In terms of job supply and demand, Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Brasov and Iasi dominate on both counts. At the other end of the spectrum, the fewest jobs are in Teleorman, Olt, Sălaj, Vaslui and Călărași counties and in cities such as Suceava, Bacău, Brăila, Satu Mare and Buzău.
In terms of demand and supply of jobs by field, the most sought after are sales, IT/telecom, finance/accounting, engineering and marketing. On the other hand, fields such as beauty services, agriculture/animal husbandry, security/military or child/elderly care are not in high demand by either employers or job seekers.
Job searches by age were highest in the 25 – 34 age category (31.82%), followed by 35 – 44 (19.92%), 45 – 54 (17.5%), 18 – 25 (15.24%), 55 – 65 (10.24%) and, last, 65+ (5.28%).
In terms of experience level, most applications were at entry-level (44%), followed by middle (42%), senior (10%) and executive (4%).
