Remote jobs are increasingly popular with employers and jobseekers alike. Job fair organizers are now seeing this, saying they have such positions on offer and even internships “from home” are now available.
The career fair for employers and jobseekers in Cluj takes 8-9 of October and will take place in a hybrid format. Company representatives will also present career opportunities in the Career Fair Live Stream.
Among the biggest employers in need of people are international companies Emerson or Bosch Romania. The sectors of activity that will be addressed are engineering, automation, programming, human resources, purchasing, accounting, consulting, technical operations, maintenance, administrative, construction, customer relations and support. Various positions are open: commercial worker, forklift operator, electrician, excavator, recruiter, production operator, welder, process engineer, programmers in React, NodeJS, iOS, Java, testers, accountant, economic analyst, procurement consultant, IT consultant, customer support and relationship specialists, network administrator and so on.
“Remote jobs can be considered the centerpieces of these times, they are to be found in this season’s offer, most of them coming from the IT area,” the organizers said.
There are also internships on offer for students or graduates, and they can now even opt for “internships from home”.
Remote jobs season
The supply of remote jobs, which are mainly for the “white-collar” category, continues to grow month over month, say representatives of the BestJobs recruitment platform. In September alone, this category saw a 20% increase over the previous month. “We’re seeing that as soon as the traditional holiday season ended, recruiting picked up and more remote jobs dedicated to white-collar candidates appeared. Analyzing the activity on BestJobs, the growth does not surprise us, as this segment has always been very dynamic on our platform, both in terms of supply and demand,” said Ana Vișian, Marketing Manager BestJobs Romania.
In September, certain trends stand out according to the keywords used by candidates in direct searches, as follows: 10% of all searches were for “remote jobs” and 3% for “part-time jobs”.
