The highest net gains in Romania are in Bucharest-Ilfov, Timiş and Cluj. The average salary of a citizen of the Capital or of Ilfov County is 4,500 lei net. In Timiş and Cluj counties, the average net salaries are similar, at 3,500 lei per month. On the last positions are the counties of Vrancea, Vaslui and Dolj, where average salaries slightly exceed 2,500 lei net. The data was collected from Salario, the salary comparator launched by the eJobs recruitment platform, which helps to make transparent the information regarding Romanians’ salaries. 130,000 people have already entered their net monthly earnings into this platform.

The counties where citizens are better paid are also the ones where candidates show the greatest interest in transparent salaries on eJobs, while the inhabitants of Mehedinti, Teleorman and Giurgiu counties are least interested in finding out the market gains.
