The Rabla program for household appliances will start on May 14, and the first appliances eligible for the program are washing machines and dish-washers, refrigerators, and tumble dryers, announced the Minister of Environment, Tanczos Barna. Through this program, it will be possible to purchase laptops and tablets.
“The basic rule is, first of all, to subsidize the change of the household appliances that are the most energy inefficient in the house: the refrigerator, the washing machine, the tumble dryer. These are the ones we start with “, explained Tanczos Barna.
The first week will be for registration in the registration system for all citizens who want to participate in the program;
The first 3 types of appliances that will qualify for the program are: washing machines (and dishwashers), tumble dryers, and refrigerators
Then laptops, tablets, and TVs will follow.

“We allocate amounts for each component separately, so that we do end up like two years ago, when, I think, 40% or 60% of the money went on TVs,” the Environment Minister told Digi 24 on Thursday evening.
According to him, in principle, products similar to those purchased must be handed over, but there will be exceptions such as tablets or laptops for school children.
Also, for the purchase of an air conditioner, it will be possible to exchange “a larger consumer” of electricity.

Within the program for household appliances, vouchers of up to 500 lei are granted for the purchase of new equipment, as follows:
- 400 lei for air conditioners (including portable ones) with energy efficiency for cooling at least A ++;
- between 300 and 400 lei for refrigerators (refrigerators, refrigerators, refrigerators or freezers) with the new energy class at least C:
- 400 lei for refrigeration appliances with the new energy class A;
- 350 lei for refrigeration appliances with the new energy class B;
300 lei for refrigerators with the new energy class C.
- between 300 and 400 lei for TVs with the new energy class A, B or C:
- 400 lei for TVs with the new energy class A;
- 350 lei for TVs with the new energy class B;
- 300 lei for TVs with the new energy class C.

- 400 lei for washing machines with dryer with the new energy efficiency class C.

- 500 lei for dryers with energy efficiency class A ++;
- 400 lei for dryers with energy efficiency class A +++
- between 300 and 400 lei for dishwashers with the new energy class of at least C:
- 400 lei for dishwashers with the new energy class A;
- 350 lei for dishwashers with the new energy class B;
- 300 lei for dishwashers with the new energy class C.
- 200 lei for vacuum cleaners with an energy consumption of less than 43 kWh / year;
- 500 lei for laptops;
- 300 lei for tablets.
