More than 10,000 cash registers have been connected to the computer system of the Ministry of Finance – ANAF, in about a month, since the connection procedure was launched, announced minister Alexandru Nazare.
The operationalization of the procedure for connecting the fiscal electronic cash registers to the MF – ANAF information system represents a step forward towards the digitalization of the fiscal administration by automating the data exchange and eliminating the need for certain specific declarations to be submitted by merchants each month, the minister said in a post on his personal Facebook page.
The connection deadline for large taxpayers is June 30, 2021, and November 30, 2021, for small and medium-sized entities. Nazare also stated that it encourages even small service providers, including taxis, to initiate procedures to connect their electronics cash registers through authorized distributors or accredited service units.
