Technology and consulting company Softelligence plans to hire 100 software developers, architects and engineers over the next six months to expand its existing team by 40%. Softelligence’s team of 250 people will grow to 350 by June 2022.
This expansion is part of the plan to create and expand an Eastern European hub of excellence in consulting and digital transformation for financial services companies, serving renowned clients around the world.
“The sustained digitization effort of existing clients, as well as new ones we have started working with in the last three years, has led to the company’s involvement in increasingly complex transformation and consulting projects. We have been entering into new partnerships and steadily hiring more and more experts in Romania and the UK, and now we have opened a new specialist center in North Macedonia. Our estimates for the coming year indicate an increasing involvement of technology in the transformation of large international players in the banking and insurance sector, which is why our team will grow considerably in the coming period,” explains Adrian Blidăruș, CEO and founder of Softelligence.
The company plans to hire software experts specialized in .NET, Java and modern data management technologies, as well as software architects, data scientists, team leaders and project managers.
Softelligence offers its employees a competitive salary package, but also a work environment where they feel valued, where they can showcase their ideas and creativity, have a direct impact on the projects they are involved in, and enjoy the results of their work and advance their careers. The company offers training and specialization programs, and the existing team is made up of experts with a wealth of experience who can help new colleagues develop quickly. In 2021, Softelligence has invested more than €100,000 in specialization courses alone.
In October, the company opened a subsidiary in North Macedonia where it plans to invest €1 million by the end of 2023.
Softelligence was founded in 2006 in Bucharest by Adrian Blidăruș, who is now CEO and majority shareholder, and has a total of four subsidiaries, including two in Romania (in Bucharest and Craiova), one in the UK and, the newest, in North Macedonia. The company’s total turnover in all the markets in which it operates amounted to €11.4 million in 2020.
