After opening two stores in Auchan, the collaboration between Nhood – the manager of the stores – and the Germans from KiK extends to 4 new shopping centres: Craiova – 550 square meters, Cluj-Napoca – 605 square meters, Constanta – 567 square meters and Pitești Găvana – 605 square meters. The units will open by the end of this year. Looking ahead, the expansion plan covers three more units in Bucharest, Oradea and Brasov, for which negotiations are well advanced.
Thus, the first KiK store in the Auchan shopping centre network was opened in October 2020, in Timișoara Șagului, on an area of 636 square metres, followed by the store in Satu Mare, opened in July this year, on an area of 550 square metres.
“In the challenging context in which we find ourselves, it is very important for us to find strategic partners who are oriented towards the needs of customers and towards meeting objectives, such as Nhood. We are convinced that this is just the beginning of a beautiful collaboration, with the help of which we will get closer and closer to KIK customers all over the country. We have ambitious plans”, said Raluca Hartmann, General Manager KIK Romania.
The German discount retailer, KiK, is a destination for the whole family, and already has 64 stores open all over the country, with numerous product categories: adult and children’s clothing, footwear, accessories and additional products, cosmetics, toys, party decorations and various products in the home & deco category.
In Romania, Nhood is mandated by Ceetrus to manage the portfolio of 23 Auchan shopping centres nationwide, as well as to continue the development of the largest urban regeneration project in Romania – Cartier Coresi.
