The unemployment rate has decreased every month since 2021, Prime Minister Florin Citu wrote in a post on Facebook, adding that Romania’s economy has the fastest recovery after an economic crisis in the last hundred years.
“The unemployment rate has decreased every month since 2021. The National Institute for Statistics (INS) announced that the unemployment rate in May reached 5.5% and the lowest number of unemployed people in March 2020,” Citu wrote on Facebook.
He stated that an economy in which investments and wages increase is “an economy in which the number of jobs increases (in the private sector)”.
“Romania’s economy has, due to the good activity of the Government that I lead, the fastest recovery after an economic crisis in the last hundred years,” the prime minister concludes.
